Cancun, Q.R. – A new eco-park is set to open this summer in Mexico’s popular Riviera Maya.
Xcaret Experiences has announced Xenses, which will be open to the public beginning June 1, 2016 with an investment of $20 US million.
Miguel Quintana Pali, founder of Xcaret, explained that the areas of the new park will be similar to those of the already-existing Xcaret and Xplor parks in that it is nature-focused. Xenses will focus on the feelings and experiences with nature by using various elements such as water and vegetation, honing in on the senses of sight, touch and taste.
The original project description states that the ecotourism park will be a recreation center with different activities and services such as circuit rope courses, zip lines, artificial ponds or pools, water slides, animal exhibits, 3D movies, tours of sensory stimulation and different thematic atmospheres.
The new Xenses park will be nearly 40 hectares in size with a unique worldwide concept for the whole family.
